A can of concentrated orange juice accidently rolled under my seat and exploded two days later. The result- my carpet soaked with fermented orange juice! Disgusting! I took out the mat and tried to wash it off and I also tried to soak up the juice as best I could and spray it with carpet cleaner and wash it out. The smell is still faintly there and I wanted to know if anyone had any solution to this mess or had any good ideas!? Has anything like this ever happened to anyone? thanks...

I hate to admit sometimes that I use this stuff,
but, I Use "Febreze" extra strength.
( for some reason 'Febreze' doesn't seem "MANLY" )

If they called it "STINK REMOVER" I might feel better, but, the stuff works.

It doesn't just cover the ordor, it seems to work great for me.

I use it in my Jeep after fishing trips and my wife never complains about my fishy Jeep anymore.

Keep a bottle in your car.

We rented a car and someone had smoked in it..ick..We used Fabreeze a few times. We sprayed the car at night and left the windows closed. The next day all the smoke smell was gone.

Get an ozone machine, and leave it turned on in the car with the windows up overnight. This will kill the source of the smell. Problem solved.

I would try:

Baking Soda...
Super CD (It's a odor removal product)
of Fabreze odor eliminator.

change your air filter. most people only know about one airfilter and that one is on the motor; however, their is one on you air ducks. chances are it has never been replaced. go to an auto store and they will sell you the filter and tell/show you where it is.
