I have been trying to recall this comic strip I used to read in the paper...it's of a women who like to shop..loves shoes and purses..and chocolate...she is always trying to go on a diet...but never sticks to it...MAN I can't think of the TITLE..please help

That sounds like a a comic strip called Cathy by Cathy Guisewite. Definitely a comic strip that almost any woman can relate to! :-)

The strip in question is entitled "Cathy". It's by Cathy Guisewhite.
I never read it. Too whiny and bashes males too much. I don't find it particularly funny either.
