STAR WARS!
It is still not too late to hurl every DVD or VHS copy of episodes 1, 2, and 3 into the sun. I think everyone would voluntarily give up all their Star Wars crap for the promise of 3 new prequels that are actually good. George Lucas will be given a choice:
1. Stay as far away from the new prequels as you possibly can or...
2. Follow Jar-Jar and the rest of your garbage into the sun.

If I thought George Lucas could pull it off, I'd like to see prequels that can wedge between Star Wars episodes; shed some expansive light on Luke and Leia's growing years, Vader's Empire reign of brute force and terror across the galaxy; Death Star construction progress, Han Solo's smuggling career and eventual partnership with Chewie and the tie-in with Lando Clarrision.
Obi-Wan's isolated life on Tattoine, where he communes at rare times with HIS Jedi Master.
There's a wide Star Wars universe out there....and some gaps in between episodes. I'm sure Lucas has such project ideas in his "notebook" only his eyes see.....for now.

Prequel of Pirates of the Carribean. You know, how Jack made the agreement with Davey Jones, the mutiny, the survival of Jack on the island, and the pillaging of Barbossa's crew way before they became undead.

The Matrix.
The Animatrix has some awesome stories in it. The Real Renaissance Parts I and II would make a great movie that I think would really add to the series.

godfather, but godfather II would technically be a prequel/sequel.
a star wars prequel to see how yoda came about and give lucas a chance to fix up the crappy job he did.

halloween cause there is a lot of mystery on those movies, some mysteries that had been uncover during all the movies of this psycho killer which is my favorite MICHAEL MYERS
