I'm not looking for rocket science here, nor am I trying to evoke any kind of epiphany or anything like that. This is just for fun. People are taking this way too seriously. Treat it like you are in a debate class and you just got put on the "God is Real" side. You don't have to beleive in god. I don't care about that. Just do what you can to try and prove it. It's a silly question not to be taken seriously. Anyone who does this, pull out the stick and relax a little. Heh heh.

Also, I'm not religious in any way. This is just for fun.

My eyes perceive my dog laying on the floor. Observation equals fact.

Oops, you said "god." My bad. I got a little dyslexic.

I've read this question a few times, and I can't help but believe "science" and "God" to be mutually exclusive ideas.

IF God does exist, then believers should be able to take that on faith and faith alone. There should be no reason to need or want proof. And given that, why would this same God give us the ability to prove Its existence?

And when it comes to something so vague, there is no way to prove it true or untrue. You could just as easily say "Prove, using science, that I'm thinking about an apple right now". You just can't do it.

So unfortunately I don't think you're going to find anything that gives you exactly what you're looking for.

I'll throw the question back at you. As a believer how can you prove there is a God?
The written word is no evidence whatsoever because it is interpreted by the writer.
Just ask people who have witnessed an event a few seconds ago to describe what they saw, you will get many different versions. It doesn't mean people are lying but that we all see things differently. So scientifically you cannot prove what does not or has never existed.

When you see a painting, you know and can prove that there was a painter, right?
When you see an airplane, you know that there was an engineer that designed it.
When you hear a song, you know that a composer wrote it.
When you read an amazing poem or story, you know a writer wrote it.
When you see a row of chairs or a neat stack of boxes or clothes, you know that there was an orderer.
When you put on your favorite shirt, you know there was a designer.
When you see a building you know that there was a builder. The building itself is PROOF that there was a builder, am I right?
I could go on and on with this.
These things do not just magically evolve from their own fibers or materials, someone has to do it!

Now, logically if everything in the world has a designer, builder, orderer, inventor and so on, don't you think that the universe itself would be proof that there is a creator, and powerful maker who is God of it all? In my mind that makes pretty good sense.
.....
P.S. I am a Christian, so maybe I'm cheating? ha

Neither a proof of God's existence or non-existence is possible using scientific methods, because neither theory is refutable on the basis of evidence. (It can be proved that the predictive power of a theory obtains exclusively from its refutability.)
Noted Catholic theologian Hans Kung, in his massive book Does God Exist?, came to the same conclusion by different means. He chose to believe in God because that was more compatible with the rest of his belief system. But there is not, and cannot be, any evidence to establish the matter one way or the other.

I agree with an earlier post. It is impossible, but that is what religious types know as well. They aren't looking for scientific reasoning. They just want you to hear them out. It is always up to you to determine whether or not science is more important than an ideology that we are created by more than just an evolutionary "big bang". Personally, I am religious. However, like I have come to understand, it is not up to me to make a decision for you. If you choose to not agree with Creationism, I will still have the utmost respect for you in your quest for an answer. I hope you find whatever it is you need and know that there are tons of websites dedicated to both sides of the fence.

We are unable to scientifically verify the existence of god with our five senses. Though I am not religious, I believe there is a god because I cannot definitely conclude his non-existence. I think my existence, and everything else in this universe, is the result of an idea....the idea of a being that somehow willed us, and everything else, into reality.

That's bull. It'll never happen. If people think there is a god then how and why did we evolve. Don't they say that god made us pure to start with? So why aren't we still monkeys? LOL

Impossible. God doesn't exist. Religion requires its adherents to take things on faith. Faith is defined as belief without evidence. How, praytell can you prove something that has no evidence?

thats a stupid question cause if your non- religious means you do not believe in god and you can't use science to prove there is a god and religious nuts can't use it to prove there is one so reprase your question and maybe something can be done
