Wow - how much detail do you want?

The frontal lobes of the cerebrum contain the executive functions of the brain - conscious thought and those activites that require processing, gathering and integrating of data.

The midbrain of the cerebrum include routing, selecting, mapping, and cataloguing information, including information perceived from the environment and information that is remembered and processed throughout the cerebral cortex. This section contains the hypothalamus, pituitary, thalamus, as well as other endocrine organs that modulate the function of the cortex and of autonomic systems.

The hindbrain, which contains the cerebellum and the medulla oblongata contain nerves controlling the autonomic functions (breathing, heart beat, blood flow) and mediate an exchange between the messages from the cerebrum and the spinal cord (which communicates with the rest of the body).

There is much more detail of the brain than this - but I just gave you a general overview to help you get started.

There are many complicated parts to the human brain. One main part is the cerebrum. Inside the cerebrum there is the pituitary gland and the hippocampus. There are also other important parts to our brain. Another part of the brain is the cerebellum. The brain stem is the last part of the brain that is the base of the brain that connects the brain to the spinal cord.
