This has been a problem with all of my relationships, and my friends say they have this problem too. When a guy starts doing something I really like, I say "That's fantastic! I really like that! Keep doing it!" and then they change what they're doing! They'll start doing whatever it is at a different speed or level of pressure, or they'll change what they're doing altogether.

Why do guys think "keep doing that" means "do something different?" What can a girl say to get a guy to keep doing what we like?

Because you & your friends have been with idiots, that's why.
If I'm with a lady, and doing stuff with her, and she says "keep doing that", you can bet your a$$ that I'll keep doing that.
