entire bible and is the reason alot of Christians have a very apathetic world view and refuse to participate in any meaningful way in this world because they are being taught falsly that this world is about to end at any second and what is the point to do any thing posative in it because Jesus is coming back in a moment or two at the most?

Were you aware of the fact that the book of "Revelation" is tied directly into the "OLD" testament of the bible and that all but the return of Christ has already been fulfilled many, many years ago although there are many "prominent" bible teachers on television that say that many or most of the prophecy of the book of Revelation have not come to pass yet and are depicting futuristic events?

It's is a lot easier for people to say things like "you'll find out when its too late." Rather than to actually take the time themselves, personally, to actually find out for real, right now, by simply doing their own reaserch into my statements of truth about this subject of the book of Revelation, isn't it a shame that these people won't find out the truth themselves until it is to late unless they change their atitudes ?

It's not Revelations, it's one revelation. But yes, severely misinterpreted.

At the Council of Nicea (called by the Roman Emperor Constantine when he adopted Christianity for the Empire) the Christian leaders decided which books would be included into the "New Testament".
The religious leaders had the greatest fight over the book of Revelations, many thinking that it would cause doomsday cults to spring up seeing the end of the world in every little detail everywhere.
They were right.

It is difficult to interpret the Book of Revelation (see, even you put Revelations, when it is singular). Since many of the prophecies associated with dates did not come to pass, this book is best used as an allegory for what the future is like when Christians do not follow God's teachings.

I graduated high school from a Christian school ( as I sit and smoke my bong) and learned a lot of bible interpretation and I agree that it is very misinterpreted as is much of the book.
It is meant to be a story, not a religion.

Most worldly people view it as sad. Most Christians see it as a celebration of happiness because of Christs' return.
