Ok I want to know what type of clubs would be best for my hobbies and intrests. Im having a tough time choosing. My intrests:
Celtic music
Animals
acting
singing
Anime
Japanese stuff
Chinese stuff
Self defence
Hobbies:

There are some Celtic, Japanese, and Chinese organizations that would love to have you join - you do not have to be of that ethnicity to belong. Check the yellow pages for cultural centers - or ask a librarian - they usually are aware of cultural clubs in the area. Also, you could learn the language through a cultural center - you might even be able to get a tutor your own age to help you with that, reading and/or speaking.
Animals - volunteer with a stray rescue center, or help out at the local shelter - there are other teens there doing the same thing.
Every city and town has at least one local live theater, and they put on plays and musicals pretty often. Teens are always welcome to join in the fun.
Get into a self defense class, one that is for your age.
For the anime, you may want to look for some type of art group, check the local museums to see if there are any clubs touching on anime. We have several art galleries that display anime pretty regularly, so call around and ask them if they know of any organizations focusing on that.
Any of these places and activities will help you break the ice in meeting other teens (12 is close enough to call you a teen to me) and you will not be socially deprived within a short time - in fact, you may turn out to be pretty popular!

Drama Club. Singing musicals at school. Computer Game Club. Choir. Karate Club (or any other fighting club).

discover a new type of music. concerts are a good way to meet people. no 12 year old should listen to celtic music. youll be made fun of. metal is where its at. use your self defence to punch someone in a pit.

are you athletic and coordinated? you might enjoy Irish dancing. my cousin does that. it looks fun. very hard though and lots of practice required. she competes.
