People's talking bout Cristiano Ronaldo winning it,but how about Franck RIbery?He was magnificent,driving France to the final,isn't that worth a BestPlayer Award?

Yes, Ribery is criminally underrated some unknown reason. He was a definite driving force behind the French attack and should have been nominated for something (not Best Young Player probably 'cause that's for 21 and under). I think people were just too busy gaping at Germany's success (ie. Klose, Podolski, Lahm) that they overlooked everybody else.
And Messi was absolutely amazing (!!) but unfortunately he saw too little of the pitch, or else he might have been best young player. Ronaldo's overrated (by the female population, I think), as for Podolski, he's impressive, accurate, and he's German, so anything less than a win would have been out of the question.

I think Ribery was great but if you see the improvement of Podolski's game and the way he helped his team, he deserved it more than Ribery. They are both INCREDIBLY great players and both have bright futures ahead of them. I do think that Podolski deserved it but then again this is a matter of opinion so there I would appreciate it if no one attacks me for my opinion.

i think of C. Ronaldo have been given what he deserved, that's a noisy boo from any crowd each time he have been given his hands (oops, I recommend ft) on the ball. in case you look on the stats, Podolski had extra photographs, extra photographs on objective, and extra targets than Ronaldo (who purely have been given a million, and from a penalty so technically could desire to have been 0). and don't ignore honest play counts besides, so needless to say Podolski deserved to win hands down. playstation . to __/````O i could want to be sure your grandma play interior the international Cup, eh?

Yes, he definitely deserved the award. Bastian Schweinsteiger was also great. He has an excellent ability to control the ball and score.

not franck or christiano....i think lionel messi deserve it....but comparing with lukas , franck and christiano.......lukas deserve it more.
