Portugal and Spain had colonies in Africa. Their languages are similar, and Puerto Ricans speak Spanish, so there's your connection. "Eastern Indians" live in India, a very large and highly populated country in South Asia where curry comes from. They are dark skinned and have features similar to caucasian people. You need to educate yourself about the world more!

I think you mean East Indians. My father is from India (half Iranian too) and no he doesn't look Hispanic. He has Persian features and from afar looks pretty much like a white man.
