I'm a proud member of peta - People for the eating of tasty animals. PETA can kiss my ***.

What started out as a good thing has turned sour. PETA has become completly a satire of it's own self. Remeber when they rescued all of those dogs from being put to sleep from all of those vetrinarian clinics....and then they had so many freaking dogs that they actually winded up having them all killed. This is a true story. PETA is nothing more than a bunch of misinformed, rich, bratty college kids. They make me sick! If you want to dedicate your life to saving animals, please do. We need more people like that in the world. But, please...do it by your own means and do not join PETA!

Peta are a truly warped bunch.
They completely fail to appreciate that we Humans are Animals. We may have evolved nice big brains, but the basic Animal nature is still there.
If you raised a Human without the niceties of our "So-called" civilised society, they would bite the heads off of live animals if they were hungry and wouldn't give it a second thought.

Now don't get me wrong, civilisation is great. I wouldn't be talking to you now if we hadn't learnt to get along the way we do and learnt to work together to achieve the advancements we all enjoy.
The problem with the likes of Peta though, is they have become over civilised. The culture they live in means that they can eat Tofu and don’t have to rely on the skins of animals to keep warm.

I wonder how many of them would stick to their stupid "Think of the Animals" bit, if they were cold and hungry?

As for the Celebrities, they are unfortunately the worst examples of what Humanity has become being the poster children for Human excess as they are.
But all us Monkeys do like to watch Monkeys that are richer, prettier and more talented than us Sing and Dance.

So 'Dance Monkeys, Dance!'

PETA's members are fanatics. And fanatics in general have no sense of humor and they usually lose all sense of logical reasoning. Fanatics think only their way is the right way and when they can't convince you to come over to their side in a peaceful way, they resort to violence and terrorist-like activities.

Just because THEY don't eat meat or wear fur and leather doesn't mean that everybody else has to stop doing those things.

Peta members have no right to destroy anyone else's personal property by throwing paint or anything else on people wearing fur or leather.

PETA people generally mean well, but are basically unstable, illogical, fanatical, and hysterical people.

Being against animal cruelty and abuse is one thing, but many times they get too controlling and demanding and cross a line between the spirit of rescuing the downtrodden and the will to control all human behavior. Aims at celebs are merely desperate pot shots - feeble attempts at self-righteous recognition.

For this reason they fail to enjoy the financial and moral support of the general public.

I support peta. Ocassionaly they do go too far, but usually I appreciate what they do for animals. I think their attacks on celebrities are usually good. Like I said, they go too far sometimes, but I don't think wearing fur is something someone should be proud of.

i care about animals and how they are treated, but there is a limit to it. i eat meat, i am aware of what goes on with slaughtering houses and poachers, but i don't like how PETA addresses it.
throwing stuff at people b/c of what they wear? do the PETA people know what is really in the material of what they wear? they are hypocritical and need to get a real job.

It makes PETA and their group sounds more stupid and silly.
It makes other people ignore the purpose of their cause and turn a deaf ear to PETA

I can see their point, but I don't really think it does anything but harass the celebs. Their attacks on celebs don't make me want to go pro-peta. They should try a more informational approach, instead of attacking celebrities.

Although members of PETA are well - intentioned, they definately go too far. However, they do have right to their opinions and I think that they do help protect innocent animals. Unfortunately, many of them believe that animals are equal to or even better than humans.
