wat do i have to do to record a tv show?...i put a tape in the vcr..then do i press play then record?...because everytime when the tape is not running..and i press record..its eject the tape...so wat do i have to do?

If the tape has been copy protected you can not tape over it and when you hit record it spits it back out at you. On the spine of the tape in the corner there should be a small square with a piece of plastic covering it. If the square is empty you can not tape over it. To get around this take some paper and fold it to fit inside the square (flush) and put a piece of tape over it to hold it in place. You should then be able to record with out it spitting back out at you. I have worked it communications for 15 years, and that sounds exactly like what is going on.

Press record and play at the same time. If it keeps ejecting the tape, then make sure the tab on the back side of tape is still there.

It sounds like your trying to record on a non recordable tape and that's why its ejecting it.Check the bottom of the tape for a little square hole,unless this little hole is covered then you cannot record on the tape.Try buying some new blank tapes and have a go again.

put tape in wait 4/3 sec then chose what channel then press red dot w/ red circle

you dont hit play you hit record and if that doesnt work get a new vcr

your vcr might need to be cleaned or repaired if that doesn't work you'll need to get another one
