I am looking for a job in a town that has very few available.
Gone on lots of interviews for all sorts of jobs….
I am told I interview well. Make no mistakes when describing my self or what I have done, have impressive skills but yet thought all of this no one will hire me.

I shower & dress properly (SUIT)

Please some one explain to me why if I do every thing right why can I not find a job?

Those attributes are important when hiring, but those are only surface level criteria. Most people do and feel the same as you. Your actual experience is relevant too. Instead of doing what's expected, which is also done by everyone else, try to do something creative and different. This 'outside the box' thinking will separate you from everyone else. this is hard and most people don't pull it off. The most efficient way is networking. Most people really care about who you know and what that person can say about you. Everybody does great interviews and dressed nice and thinks they are skilled-which I'm sure they are once given the job, but in reality in is about who you know, and if you don't know anyone, it then becomes about creativity-which is the hardest part. Good Luck. And if this doesn't settle with you just think about the probability of numbers-the more you keep trying the more it will happen. Also, consider a move if your area is economically decrepit.

Actually you have posed two problems :
i) Your not getting what you need most is part of Murphy's Law that states if a thing is likely to wrong, it will definitely go wrong (at the most crucial moment). Like your not finding the key or the screw driver or the certificate you knew it should have been there, but not found there when searched.
ii) Your not finding the job is not Murphy's Law. It has something to do with your ability, communication skills and salesman ship. You have to find out what the job requires and mould your self accordingly.

There is SO much more descrimination out there, than I think the public realizes.

It could be a NUMBER of petty reasons.

For example:
Kids
Older car
Too young
Too old
Too much experience or too little
Too friendly or not friendly enough
Live too far away
Have a lisp
In a wheel chair
Over zealous
Fake smile
Smoker
Over weight
Too much make up or not enough
Bad posture
Misspelled word on application
Grammar is bad
Race
Have been unemployed too long (1 year)
Have jumped from job to job (in other words, too many jobs make you look like you have quit or been fired a lot)
You don't have a sense of humor
You DO have a sense of humor

There is no end to it.

It really just depends on who you're talking to on the other side of that desk.
You have to quickly examine THEM to try to get a feel of their personality and play to them.

IT'S HARD!

It's a guessing game.

Murphy's Law most probably...why not branch out a bit into other towns since as you say the town you are searching in has so few jobs available.
Good Luck :)

i have training in this field. I can help you get you a job. email me and I will give you good avice. Interviewers are educated on what to ask and how to interpret the responses, you just need to be educated on how to give the correct responses.
