Bring her flowers or choclates, show that you thought about her. In other words make her feel special and get her all hot and bothered and you just need to be alone. THEN reach for the castle... Referencing sex with your girlfriend being akin to entering "the dark castle", surely won't even bring the door bridge down for you to cross. You'll surely fall into the moat; a place you DON'T want to go.
And if you were to find that "magical key" to get you in "the dark castle" you might find "the firey dragon"....who really turns out to be the Stork. And you and girlfriend then become COMMITTED parents---for at least 18 years (actually, it's for the rest of YOUR life, pal).
Keep your "magical key" in it's case for now. Why not focus your time away from trying to enter "the dark castle"? Spend some non-sexual fun time with this fair maiden; get to know her really well.
