It's a room with two outer walls, and there is UV blocking tint on the only window.

Typically the main problem is lack of circulation.

A room that is too hot in the summer may have windows that allow too much sun in, may have bad insulation or open windows allowing heat to enter and cold air to leave, or it may be that the room is not being allowed to circulate air with the rest of the house.

Love as always,

If a room faces the sun, it's likely to be hotter than any other room in the house besides the kitchen when the stove and or oven are on. Also in a two story house, upstairs will be hotter that downstairs. Heat rises up.

The room's relative position to sources of heat, the sun being the most important.

Rooms with southern exposure in the northern hemisphere and northern exposure in the southern hemisphere will be hotter.

There could be a lot of causes. The location (which side of the house) or central heat/air duct needs to be cleaned out are the two most likely.

The two outer walls may have insufficent insulation in them.
Insulation helps to cool a room just as it helps to keep it warm.

Are there any fans or air conditioners? How about large/open windows, blinds up or down? Stoves, lots of electronics? And of course, basements are always cooler in winter and warmer in summer, unless artificially heated or cooled.
