A gifted athlete but that does guarantee stardom at QB? No. He may turn out to be a good NFL QB but he will have to learn and change his style dramatically.

Great QB.
In high school he had skeptics about how good a QB he was. His senior year, he (with the help of Texas A&M rb, Courtney Lewis) pretty much drove his team 6 points away from a state title game in Texas.
In college, people thought he should be a WR. All he did was put up better numbers in his first 2 years then the NFL QB he seems to be compared to the most(Vick), and he dethroned the, what was thought to be invincable, former champs in USC. Arguably should have won the Heisman too, but at least he got best QB.
Both of his previous steps he has come into his own 2 or 3 years into it and by year 4 is among the elite. I can't see reason for it not to happen again.

Not if he keeps hanging out and partying with Pack-man Jones.Vince will be as good as what's around him. Expect him to play later in the year as Billy will get banged up and hurt just as he has every time he goes in and plays for an extented period.
Vince may be very good or he may turn into another David Carr running for his life and getting sacked. Real question is can Jeff Fisher have a winning season or will Bud Adams expect Fisher to have some many W's or he is gone from the team. LP Field that still sounds awful...Why couldn't of been Hooters Field

If they getting him into a west coast offense because in the NFL he won't look like VIck. He's more like Culpepper without the Cannon. But quick passes and a solid running game could set up the be ablility to Play action rollout and pick yards in medium to short situations. He'll have to watch out for Ray Lewis though.

did you see what he scored on his wonderlic? he's a freakin idiot he can't learn an nfl system!! quarterbacks have to be smart to be successful in the nfl....yeah he's a gifted athlete but look at michael vick! he's more talented and faster and look at his quarterback skills....the dudes garbage! cutler was by far the best quarterback in the nfl draft and for those ppl who think that leinart was u dont know anything.....leinart is the next chad pennington, the dude is solid from 1-10 yards, anything downfield he has problems with cuz he's got no arm strength, he flourished in the college ranks but the nfl is totally different
that is my rant and i stick by it!

he's a good athlete but he's dumber than a rock. sure...you don't have to do math or know how to spell to play football...but scoring well on the wonderlic shows that you can learn something...anything! vince young couldn't even learn basic math and english lol. how is he going to learn a playbook? he won't be able to improvise based on his athletic ability in the nfl. he will be a bust...akili smith comes to mind....

I beleive he will but he will have his struggles in his Rookie year mush like Peyton Manning did. He should be a pro bowler within 3-4 years if he can progress how I beleive he will.

he will be. but it will probably take a few years.
he has a pretty good arm and great legs. but he will have to settle down in the NFL and rely more on his arm and less on his legs if he wants to be productive and stay healthy.

I think he's going to be similar to Michael Vick. They're both good athletes, but not good quarterbacks like most people like to think.
