well this month my period was about a day late..but my periods arent clockwork so im not sure,um i woke up on the 9th with my period it was heavy and clotting,that only lasted 2 days as opposed to my usualy 3, but like i said its different each cycle,on day 3 it was just light since then its just been barely there(only if i insert a finger or tampon...im havin cramps ..i also started birth control for the first time the sunday i got my period..could that be the reason?? it also seems to be like small clots of tissue or SOMETHING..its pink...help?!

If you just started birth control pills expect some irregular bleeding, however, if you think you are pregnant, get a test right away since the horomones can hurt the baby.

sounds like a normal period...you wouldn't be just cramping when you insert a tampon you would be cramping all over all the time and naucious if you were miscarrying. I hope it wasn't that...DNC's are horrible and suck. trust! anyway if it doesn't get better in a day or two you should go see your gyno and see what she says.
