Pick up anything by Dan Fogelberg; you'll get some slow and some sad, but all of his songs will be beautiful. Also, anything by Jim Croce -- these two "back in my day" singers and songwriters will defenitly help you find what you're looking for.

"biomusicology" by ted leo/pharmacists.

it's the most beautiful song I've ever heard. slow, but with a lot of energy. it's not a sad song really, maybe bittersweet. go steal it.

Amazing Grace , I think is beautifull. :

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see. (end)

this new song called "Tim McGraw" by Taylor Swift..
cause i can really relate to it,,cause my bf moved to texas,, I know it seems like it is going to be a song about she loves Tim McGraw & he was a little boy his dad was a baseball player and now he's a superstar and married to Faith Hill. It's nothing like that. It's about this couple falling in love because of a Tim McGraw song.& how they will always think of each other when they hear one. aint that sweet??...lol!!! She wrote this song herself. When she comes out you all will love her. She is only 16 years old!
