I have a bunch of furniture to throw away.
What company/service do you recommend?
I live in condo and never seen the city service came to do this
in our area.

Put is out to the curb and hang a for sale sign on it. Turn your back, and it will be stolen. Problem solved. If you put a sign on it advertising it for free, it will just sit there forever. I have actually done this with old tires, appliances, and furniture. The busier the street, the quicker it will be taken.

Good luck with your move.

Last year we had to clean out my grandparents house in LA, we had quite a bit of good usable furniture. Not one charity would come pick it up. They all wanted us to bring it to them. Call your trash company and tell them you need a big item pick up. Most trash companies in LA will do this a few times a year for free. They tell you what day, you put it curbside and they come by and get it. Good Luck!

Try researching at Angie's List (reviews and ratings from consumers). Then, when you have a name, check the local BBB. They will tell you how many complaints a company has and whether those complaints were resolved.
