Your argument is like the child with the abusive alcoholic parent that is involved in crime.

the child it is understandable to be loyal.

But what your talking about a elected position with a sworn oath to uphold the Constitution.....
Children don't choose their parents and are loyal

Bush is not a king.......he is to be held accountable.

to remain silent is to be loyal to one man, and a traitor to the country and its laws.

Just an FYI. Bush was reelcted by a greater percentage of the vote that Clinton/Gore received either time they ran.

You are wrong when you say that most would agree Bush stinks as president. Your limited circle of friends may agree with you, but there is a large percentage of people who think the president is doing a good job.

But we should never follow our leaders blindly, they are there to represent us, and when they don't follow their duties appropriately they should be held accountable.

Support democracy. Support the freedoms of our country. Support the office of the President and what it stands for. The man in it on the other hand...

There are plenty of presidents who we've given all these praises to that didn't and still don't deserve them. He's not a King. He's a citizen that we voted into office. We should support the offices and the reasoning for our government. Doesn't mean we have to agree with the person.

Remember, there are some of us who didn't vote for him....

No... it's our duty as Americans to question our leaders and hold them accountable for the decisions they make. Bush has made many bad decisions that have put our entire country at risk. Therefore, we should try to remove him from office before it gets worse.

I will support a president that deserves my support.

this country was built on people speaking out when they disagreed with their leaders. if those of us in the U.S. can't speak out then who will. it's like the silly bumper stickers say "dissent is patriotic." it really is the only way to change things. by being a pacifist and simply supporting someone because he is our president is wrong.

i think another issue is that more people need to vote. if all of these people that do not like bush had voted, we wouldn't be where we are right now.

I dont agree that we should support him regardless. One of my favorite quotes is by a man named Edward R. Murrows. It goes as follows: "Dissent is not disloyalty." If we think he is taking this country in the wrong direction then why should we support him? That is what is beautiful about this country..you can voice your opinions whether you agree with the president or not.

I don't feel he has given us much of a choice at this point .. and what about the next president who inherits the mess? We've gone way too far overboard now to return to sanity

We, the American people, are his boss. He must EARN our support by doing a good job, but he took an oath of office to uphold and protect our Constitution. For that he is accountable by law.....and justice is nipping at his heels.

That's the beauty of our democracy, we don't have to do nuthin! I say its time to throw the bum out. After that, I hope he gets prosecuted at the Hague for war crimes!

I resent that after he ran up the national debt and made lots of give aways to the rich and business, that we have to pay him a pension and give him protection....It think he deserves to be dropped into the middle of detroit in his shorts to fend for himself with nobody to protect him or rescue him....
