How is your Human Resources Department? Report him. Don't forget to back up your accusations with proof by documenting the date, time, what was said or what he did, who was present. Go for it and stand up for your rights. Don't let a dunce like him win.

How do you know he is a racist? Before you can do anything, you need to be able to explain in terms most people can understand why you think he is discriminating you based on race.

Once that is possible, first, report it to a boss higher than he. If he retariates, you need to talk to a lawyer.

Remember, vague idea of you thinking he is a racist does not count. You need to write down, exactly what he said and what he did, that made you believe he is discriminating you based on race. It will become a valuable tool as you move forward. Also, try to get a witness who is willing to testify for you.

You document everything he does and go to your local NAACP. Don't be afraid, for if he/she fires you after you report the abuse, you will then have another issue to sue over. He needs to be stopped and put out of business. Run, don't walk, to you NAACP--find them by looking in the phone book, and if you can't find it there, call information for the number. The agency may be in a larger city, but they will gladly come to you and assist you. Stand up for yourself--there's too many people in this world abused because of this and you can stop if at least for the people in your immediate job. Bless you!

Call you Human Resources Dept, if it's a small company and there is no HR then the only 2 options are tell him your feelings or quit and find a differant job

Take notes on everything he does that bothers you. Know dates, times, what he does, says, etc. When you can prove beyond a reasonable doubt what he's doing wrong, report him. Bigger company's are quicker to deal with issues, but not many want to be known for having racist employees.

If you have an HR department, speak with your rep regarding your boss's actions. If he is making racial slurs, etc., make sure you document date, time, what was said, any eyewitnesses. He's creating a hostile work environment for you and your co-workers.

Don't change yourself. You cant make anyone like you. All you can do is to show that you are better than him and that you have a Strong willpower. Don't be the shy kid, stand up for your rights.

All the best. Make him/her realize that you are a "gem" and to lose or upset you will have drastic measures.

Quit. You don't need to work for someone like that. Ask to transfer to another department if you can't quit. Bosses like that suck!
