How funny, about what she said, I mean. You know smoking isn't good for you and all that jazz. However, you can't let another person dictate to you what you can and cannot do and put stipulations on a relationship like that. If she gets her way with this one thing, she'll never stop trying to control you and get you to do things her way. Hey, I'm a woman and I KNOW.

Let me start by saying that I agree and admire your use of the word passion when referring to your cigar smoking. Cigars are an art form. I had a girlfriend who hated my cigar smoking, so I always had gum and axe with me when I smoked so it couldn't bother her. Everyone has their hobbys and cigar smoking is one that I have. Not everyone likes it so I make sure I don't subject others to it if they don't like it. I do not think you should give it up, it is something you enjoy and a healthy relationship is built around mutuality and compromises. You just have to be considerate when smoking so it does not bother her.

First of all smoking is your choice. If she can not be with you because you smoke then so be it. If you stop because she tells you to then who knows what she will leave you for next, because by leaving you she sees she gets what she wants in the end. Smoking is not healthy no matter if its cigars or cigs but you must be your own person not what a person somebody wants ya to be. So if you enjoy smoking cigars go for it but if ya do stop smoking make sure you did it for you not for some little trick that you probally not going to be with forever tells ya to. For all those people say go ahead and smoke kill yourself really need to get a reality check because just because you are a smoker does not mean they are going to kill ya. People are so over dramatic.

What do you like better your girlfriend or your cigars?

Personally, I asked my hubby to quit smoking when we first started dating... I really liked him, but I'm seriously allergic to smoke... plus I think its an *icky* habit. He chose to quit & hasn't smoked since. We've been together for 10 years now.

Between me & the cigarettes, he thinks I'm better to cuddle up with at night... *wink wink* ;)

I wouldn't if she does not like it to bad. There are worse things you could be doing then smoking cigars.

Don't know if cigars are as addicting as cigarettes but I would never date someone that smokes.

Hmm,

sorry, this is rude, but maybe if you like sucking on a cigar more than your girlfriend your gay.

It is a phallus symbol you know.

Of course you should! She loves that's why she wanted you to stop smoking. She don't love you, do you think she will care for you? Of course not! If you love her, just listen to her! It's for you, not hers.
