Our whole lifestyles might be re-organized. Kids would start school at 10 and finish at 20. Then people wouldnt have kids til about 30, and while the parents go to work, the grandparents take care of the young ones. There might also be a limit to how many kids you're allowed to have. A couple of hundred years ago, life expectancy was about 40. So, with technology going the way it is, it wouldnt surprise me to see people living to at least 200 in the near future.

um...it depends on what you mean by "lived to be 200 years old"...if you mean that one can live to 200 years, then there would not be too much different would be made to the society, but if you are talking about life expectancy, then, the effect would be big. People would start to have more planning, older retirement age, and also men would have to be more miserable (because there would be a lot more of valentine's day and anniversary-big spending...) and a lot more problems in society

I don't mean to make light of your question, but the first thing that popped in my head when I read it, was all these really wrinkly people, and what a booming business for the skin care products. Somebody would get rich I am sure! But seriously, if it were that folks lived to that age, I believ the events of life would happen later in life, rather than sooner...and one might be in school a whole lot longer! So a much wiser and more educated society would evolve!

I'm not sure any changes would occur. I suppose the creative people, or scientists, would have more time to work on cures for disease and people who are billionaires now would have more money than all the rest of the people on the planet put together. But, mostly, I think we would just get tired of living. At least I would.

We would have one heck of a time getting those ole bodies out of bed. Our bones would be so brittle and weak, perhaps our eyesight almost gone, hearing is no more and our teeth have decayed and dropped out.
We would most likely having others rob us than any other
group of people. Society would not be as accepting of older people.

Have babies later. That will change a lot of things. People would be able to focus on what they want in life. And most importantly, I would get an extra 100 years to take my vengence out on my enemies.
