I loved it! Did u? But my friend said it got bad reviews in her entertainment weekly.. I don't see why!?

Well yeah I don't think it's wise to take kids really, I mean they're most likely not going to like it. That's why it is rated PG13, but who pays attention to ratings nowadays, right?

I hated it-I wanted to leave but my husband wanted to see the ending, I kept looking at my watch, I was sorry I took my kids to see it as they were grossed out and felt sick or scared of the ROTTENING PEOPLE AND BEHEADINGS WHICH WERE RATHER GRAPHIC AND SHOWED EVERYTHING -NO CHILD NEEDS TO SEE THAT! Too graphic for the rating. Parents be warned -not appropriate for kids under 17. I was very disappointed as I absolutely loved the first one. All I could think was I wish someone had warned me. As for Johnny Depp -he really was not cute in this one-awful teeth-gold capped and rotting-although not anywhere as bad as the black teeth of many cast members. Yuck! People were walking out-maybe about twenty people left the cinema and we went in the night. A girl that worked there told me in the earlier shows a lot of parents with kids in the 9-12 range left midway through. My own kids did not like it at all. What a waste and what a disappointment-this film did well only because everyone stormed the cinemas on the first days thinking it would be as good as the first one.

I liked it the first time I saw it....and then the second time I saw it I realized the humor was really there, it just needed to set in a little. Almost a little too cerebral for some, more subtle humor than outright punlines
And for the poster who mentioned she would have liked a warning, I think the warning was pirates 1. Depp had gold capped teeth then too and the blacked out teeth was rampid in all the piratey scenes. Umm hello Zombies and cursed bad guys?
