Not all sunglasses are made to block the sun. Many of them are for style/fashion. So, when people wear sunglasses at night or indoors, it can be a style that they like to have.

Also, don't forget about the blind people who wear sunglasses all the time (I think). People who are healing from eye surgery also wear sunglasses at night or indoors.

People who have blackeyes from a fight, plastic surgery or from something else, may also wear sunglasses when there is no sun around.

That's just a few of the many reasons why someone might be wearing sunglasses at night.

Some are trying to look cool, others are sensitive to light, so they wear them when ever they go out. The sun hurts my eyes, so I wear them during the day if the sun is bright, but at night, especially when driving, headlights blind me to the point I can't see the white and yellow lines on the road. I'm 54 now, it just started happening about 5 years ago.

Shades always make you look cool! that and they hide your eyes. girls will wear them if thy have really bad puffy eyes. if you get a black eye and dont feel like celebrating it, wear some sunglasses. Stoners will wear glasses so people cant see there bloodshot eyes. Ow yeah people who just had lazer surgery will have them on for a few days too.

Mostly it's because of this persona people have it goes like this "I am so cool that I can pull off wearing my sunglasses at night, even though it's so 1980s cliche, I can still do it...yeah!"

Truth is, people who do that are ******* gay.

Well, for one thing, my dad used to have some eye problems and he wears them at night when driving to reduce glare from oncoming cars. Younger people might wear them because they just like the way they look. It's slightly silly, in my opinion, but I sort of get it.

one of two reasons, either immage like a fashion statement, the other is to prevent glare, there are some glasses that look like sun glasses, but in fact they adjust the ammount of glare mainly for pepole who suffer, stigmatisim, this is where the pupil takes some time to open and close,so if you have a bright light it can blind you,and when the light passes it takes for ever for the pupil to open so you can see again,i suffer this and to wear glasses at night is the only way i can see to drive, hope this answers your question fully

Cocain addicts always have light in their eyes. Some people do it because they think it is cool. or they don't want others to know what they are looking at. You can read a person by theie eyes alone

I work the desk at a hotel in the evening and I see this on a regular basis. Usually it is because their eyes are red for whatever reason. Drinking, smoking, you choose.
