well what about certain laws, can you only be free in your mind not in the physical world? because kids today are stricken with curfew laws and parents are sometimes unreasonably strick on their own children. you can't make too much noise, you cant do plenty of things so is it only basic freedom or is full freedom something imagined or something just for your mind?

Freedom is real. It is possible. No, freedom is not free. We enjoy our freedom today because of the blood spilled on battlefields around the world by young men and women who willing give their lives so that people in America can remain free.

What is freedom? It is being able to answer these questions without worrying about being arrested for stating an opinion contrary to the government. It's about standing outside your door and screaming I can't stand George Bush without someone calling the FBI and them tossing you in prison for it. Freedom is the ability to go where you want, when you want. And most of all, freedom is the ability to choose our religion without fear of government reprisal or choose no religion at all. That, my dear, is freedom. LET IT RING!!!

Freedom is the absence of limitation or restraint.

True, absolute freedom would drive a mind to insanity.

Freedom in the American sense is the ability to do something that nobody agrees with. The ability to disagree yet let be.

Freedom doesn't cost anything, but people may very well charge you for it.
