I was 12. It was back in the early 80's when cable television was new. I wasn't really restricted in what i could and couldn't watch. I could watch just about anything accept for X rated movies. My family wasn't that leaniant.

I was 4 yrs old (1984), My mother and stepfather were watching Nightmare on elm Street. my mom kept telling me to go to bed and that it was a scary movie but I ended up watching it with them anyway.
