I have renovated buildings and had allot of experience in construction.....The best books with wonderfull illustrations are the Time life Series on Home repair and Home Construction....The book you want is 'Kitchens and Batrooms'
Libary of Congress #77-83171 they do not list a ISBN #
Check your local library or go to Amazon.com
You should find everthing in this book and with the wonderful illustrations and step by step instructions you wll be in good shape.

go to lowes.com they have a project help center with complete instructions.

go to howstuffworks.com this is the website that i use....it is really good..just type in what your looking for..and it will explain it step by step.
