My girlfriend has been thinking about taking up playing the aucustic guitar. Shes pretty low on money these days with paying for college so I thought I'd give her one for her birthday, or at least give her a certificate towards one because I'm sure it would be better if she picked it out. The thing is I'm sort of tight on cash too these days. Can you get a good beginners guitar for around $200 or are they much more than that? Thanks

you should be able to get a pretty decent beginner guitar for that...then when you have the cash and get better at guitar then you can pay more money for a better one...everybody usually starts with a beater guitar...
