This is due to the MIND set they have.
In certain religions and practises, ppl are believe to able to see ghosts only at this following circumstances:
1. they WILLINGLY to see a ghosts
2. they have already have a image in their mind that how a ghost look like
3. they open themselves to risk to seeing a ghost
4. being forced by certain ppl to see a ghost
5. being cursed or casted spell by some other ppl
Like what i always advised ppl on, never ever let your mind control you when you think on issues on ghosts.
While you walking on a dark-street, stay calm and let your mind stop thinking of all sorts of "rubbish". Once your mind have these thinking of seeing ghosts, your body, soul and mind will be "opened" and this will somehow "attract" the entities around you to approach you. (approach you anything)
So next time, when having gatherings, chit chats, etc, dont be hero and saying that you are not afraid of seeing ghost. usually after ppl say this sentence, they will feel a gust of cold wind around him or her. :P

I cant see any. Thank God! But recently something spooky just happened. I heard footsteps behind me when walking back home late at night. I tot it was my jeans making the sounds and so I stopped to listen, few seconds later the footsteps stopped too. Then I tot it was possible echo of the corridor but then the sound was so real and right behind me. i turned around, saw nothing. So quickly went home. Later that week, I told my dad and my dad was like "well, yeah I've heard it a lot of times but told mum not to tell you all cos didnt wanna scare you all" I was like... wat!!! yeah so dig this, now I have this phobia with coming home late by myself after 10pm. oh well. Life has to go on right?

This explains why spiritual in tune people report so many ghost sightings where as scientifically minded people do not

i believe this is a sense that we all posses. it depends on if you use it or not. i also believe that one can choose to learn that he/she has it and can learn to use it. it has a ton to do with spirituality~yes. my question is why are these types of people medicated? why does society not accept this? are there things that we aren't supposed to know? ~no i am not 'crazy'. there is a section of our brain that we as humans are discouraged to use.

Bcos they dream a lot about them and they find them moving around them, which is nothing but an illusion.
