This 2007 world cup will be so exciting that there are many favorites.
Now a days ODI are turned away so much that who plays well on that day will win. So there is no team that we can say that it can win world cup.
The favourites are :
Australia - Their form is dangerous from a decade
South Africa - Their side has the best gifted all rounders and have good spirit
India - They also have chance of winning it if they get hold in bowling department as all are youngsters (nedd practise)
Sri Lanka - Inspite of their downfall after the series in India, they got into the track and are playing nicely.
NewZealand - One should not underestimate this team as this team has some good bowling attack.
England - This is the team that had come to finals more number of times and not winning the cup. They are in deep trouble as their players often get injuries.
Of all Australia, South Africa and India are having more chance of winning this world cup. I am an Indian and I hope India will win it under the captaincy of " The Great Wall " (of India), Rahul Dravid.

If you think about WORLD CUP CRICKET 2007, you would think who should be the winner. The world champions Australia, are really tired playing cricket. I don't think they would win this time. Our own INDIA, was in a good form for the test series in West Indies. But they were withwashed in the one dayers against WI. If Dhoni is there, we could win. India has a bit chance of winning. Other teams like Pakistan, england, South Africa, NZ and Sri Lanka, etc. are not going to win the world cup I believe. Last but not the least is West Indies. They are in a good shape for One-Dayers. They might be lucky as it is their home ground this time.
So the only teams which could win are Australia, India and West Indies. I am really looking forward for the world cup.
I hope there would be an India Vs. Pakistan match in this world cup. I hope India again wins and Dhoni beats Pakistan up. I am really looking forward to thisw world cup.

It'll be awesome. India is in relatively good form,Pakistan,SA,Sl all look like they can win the Cup. All the above teams can give the aussies a run for their money.Except for the time of telecast in India,this WC will be awesome.

some times i think the winners r preety obvious
but now srilanke India n the west indies may giv a ttough comptition for Aus,,, they may b out of the league
