I tend to think of when you go to sleep too...
I mean, midnight is technically true - but if you think about it in the concept of say, if you go out all Saturday night and get home to go to bed at 4am...as you're arriving home - it's still Saturday night, you don't treat it as Sunday morning.
Sometimes I've heard it thought of too as being daybreak of the next day...say, I dunno...lets say it's that above example of 4am on Sunday morning somewhere. Some people might think of "Sunday" as not really starting until daylight...I've done the same as stupid as it sounds when I work late shift and don't come home until 4-5am - it's dark but as I started work on Saturday night and it's still night...I end up thinking of it as not "actually" Sunday yet.

Good question, especially when you work shift work. I say when you go to sleep the day has ended and when you wake up it will be yesterday, no matter what time it is when you sleep.

Good question. Never really thought about it. I guess it would be when you wake up. If I stay up all night I'm still in today in my mind.
