So now is it expensive to get a new one for it? It is only two weeks old...and no warrenty from best buy on it due to him dropping it and its a toshiba..thanks guys if you know about how much it may cost please let me know ok?

LCD replacement is pretty expensive. When I broke the LCD on my old lap top, they said it'd better if I buy a new lap top. I went on ebay and saw some old LCD matching the model I used for sale like $200 to $400. I changed my mind and bought an LCD monitor for desktop and connected it to the lap top. It worked great, just that I couldn't take the lap top anywhere like before. So you can search ebay.com to see if anyone has the similar model like yours. Who knows, you may get lucky and win the bid for a good price. Good luck!

shouldnt their also be a manufactuer warrenty? and if so, lie, cause, if you send it in to get a fixed, ur looking at a few hundred probably. actually, what am i thinking, toshiba has the worst customer service rating (F), let me just say...good luck

ok from what i heard from the toshiba guys, fixing lcd screen goes upto 500 bucks, good thing my tablet pc have 3 year accidental damage plan/warranty, so if i do anything with it, they will just fix/replace it.....

just ****** go to best buy and say whn i opened it it was like tht. but u hav to do it before a month u bought it. u can't do nothing after a month.
