depends on the kind you get. and in this case, it's not true that you get what you pay for. some cost alot for little/no results, and some are pretty affordable. the one i've found that works the absolute best is Wexler lip plumper sold online or at Bath and Body Works stores. Patricia Wexler is Oprah's dermatologist and she's created an anti-aging skin care line, complete with a lip plumper. not only does it give immediate results, but it's the only one that's supposed to reduce the #of wrinkles in your lips, and plump lips gradually, even without using the product. try finding another plumper that plumps immediately, and with lasting results for cheap. and if that doesnt sell you, how about the selling price of $16??

Yes they do. They won't make you look like Angelina Jolie, and of you use them too much and too often they can do some temporary damage. My friend had sensitive skin, used full strength for a week and said it really hurt.
They are sort of fun though- i like them. Du Wop's Lip Venom is the best. I'd go 'half strength' if you have average lips!

I bought the most expensive one. NO they don't. They have menthol in them that stimulates the nerves in your lips. This is psycological and you feel like they are plump, but look in the mirror. Just a $40 tube of lip gloss.

Hell no, they only want your money! You don't know what kind of chemical is in that crap anyway! Why would you want to look like you got hit in the mouth? Go put your lips IN a vacuum hose! It's cheaper!

cliniqe has a lip plumper that made my lip swell up like i got punched in the lip .it sucked!!

Yes they do. Be sure you get a good one. The best ones are made from ingredients sold at a health food store. Check this out.
