At the Ivy restaurant in Beverly Hills, they make a drink called an Ivy Gimlet which is very summery and oh so good. It is crushed ice, fresh lime, fresh mint leaves and Sky Vodka with a sugared rim.
Another favorite of mine is a lychee martini. It has a little lychee juice and good quality vodka shaken with ice and strained into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lychee fruit. Mmmm.
My favorite martini at home is with Godiva Dark liqueur and Sky shaken and strained into a chilled martini glass. Also quite good with a little of the new Starbuck's Espresso liqueur.

Here in Spain we have a drink called Tinto de Verano.. translated it means Summer Wine.. it is super yummy and everyone drinks it here on the coast...
Take a tall glass, add ice, fill 1/3 with red wine, and then add either fanta lemon or similar, or diet 7up/sprite.... it should be on the sweet side, and very pink rather than red..

1oz. Triple Sec
Cranberry Juice
Splash of lime juice
Shake w/ice and serve in a martini glass
A couple of these, and you're good to go !!
