i think your supposed to wipe front to back so you don't get any stool bacteria on your front part.

I don`t think it makes a damn bit of difference! Do you really know anyone who has ever gotten sick from wiping themselves the wrong way? Look at some people in other countries, they don`t even have proper toilet paper and their population soars!! If you are careful not to go too far forward you won`t get any up in the front. If you do it front to back you are more likely to smear it all the way up your butt crack which causes lengthy skid marks in your draws! Its all about boundaries don`t go too far either way and your safe.
P.S.: I also think that most of you are lying!! You probably do a mixture of both front to back and back to front depending on how much you have to wipe. Don`t lie and succumb to peer pressure. Be honest!!
PSS.: To the pink cowboy hat girl who said wiping back to front causes yeast infections I think you are mistaken. The #1 reason why women in America have yeast infections is because they don`t urinate after having sex(with or without a condom on). Ladies get out of bed and use the bathroom after you have sex even if you don`t have to really go!! This will save you a lot of pain and suffering and money on Montestat 7. Don`t wait till the next morning!! Get up and go!!

from the cleanest area towards the dirtiest...always. So front to back. You don't want bacteria from feces in places it shouldn't be.
