Hey I'm 16 years old and I've never had a girlfriend. Am I ugly? I am a social and outgoing person. I am fun to be around (at least I think). Am I ugly?

I went to your facebook link and you look to me like a better than average looking teenager, and believe me, I have see thousands. I am a high school teacher.

Here is my advise. First of all, girls want to be asked out. They are probably not going to ask you. I know we are supposed to live in a liberated age, but it really doesn't work that way most of the time. I would suggest that first you try being friends with some of the girls you find interesting. It may sound old fashioned, but girls still respond to guys who are gentlemen. They really love to be escorted to class and have doors opened for them. Simple things like that really go a long way. Be a good listener. Nobody likes to be around someone who always wants to tell everybody how great they are and everyone gravitates toward the person who listens to them. Most girls aren't impressed with gross humor or grossness of any kind Learn to ask people questions that get them talking. Nothing too personal, though, stick with giving them the opportunity to express their opinions or tell you about a favorite pastime.

Finally, always make sure you practice immaculate hygiene. Girls like guys who smell good. Go easy on the cologne, though, a little goes a long way and never covers up the lack of a bath, tooth-brushing and using deodorant.

Normally, in society, the boys ask out the girls. There are very few girls that have enough guts to ask out the guy. Don't worry at all, you are still super-young, and you just haven't found the right one yet. Keep on being your fun, outgoing self, and eventually you will meet someone really special, just be patient! =)

A) take action yourself... most girls won't ask you, you need to ask them

B) if you think that your ugly then you will always think that and girls don't want a guy who thinks they are ugly

C) I didn't have a girlfriend until I was 17...It's not the end of the world if your not dating anyone. Enjoy your youth one day it will be gone.
