What's an inexpensive good one that I can use for my 11 mo. old until the toddler years? I need something that I can take along so my daughter has a place to sit and eat.

i had one that i got about 5 years ago that was made by 1 step ahead. i bought it at walmart for about $15-20. it has long straps that secure it to just about any chair and it folds up easily for taking to restaurants or relatives' houses. i used it with my son from about 1 year old til he was about 3 and then my daughters started using it. i'm now on my 3rd kid using the same booster and it's just as good today as the day i bought it.

"The first years" has one that inflates itself and can be strapped to any chair. It zips itself up into a 8" x 11" x 2" case with a handle for carrying. I picked it up at BJ's (which is like a Costco, or price club) for $19.95. I highly recommend it.

'One Step Ahead' make a great booster chair that has super long, adjustable straps which will fit on any type of chair. It's lightweight too.

I got mine at Target for like $14 and I love it. My 16mo old can still fit in it. It's by safety first I believe and it has a removeable dishwasher safe tray and staps that attach to the adult chair. It's a lifesaver. they had more to choose from too.

I had a Eddie Bauer pop up booster that I got at Target that I loved. It was so easy to use and it folded up. I lost it some how. I payed $25 for it. Go to Target.com to see it.

GO TO TARGET OR WALMART. THEY HAVE THIS ZIP UP HIGH CHAIR THAT COME WITH STRAPS AND YOU CAN STRAP IT TO ANY TABLE CHAIR. IT ALSO ZIPS UP TO SO YOU CAN TAKE IT WITH YOU. ITS LIKE TWENTY DOLLARS AT TARGET! ITS GREAT!
