Branded clothes, aside from the label, are supposed to be the latest in style, colors, and seasonality while non-branded clothes are less quality made and not as popular, supposedly. I don't pay for a label for anything so I go with the non-branded stuff. Carrying a Gucci bag is not my big thing when the thing costs more than my mortgage. Good question!!

Sometimes quality. Often times unbranded clothes are just as well made as branded clothes though. Generally price is a big one. Brands cost more (advertising, etc.)

Price. They both come from the same place, same manufacturers, etc. It's just the store that sells them basically.
