Has anyone ever had a false positive result with a digital pregnancy test? A year ago I was very late so I bought two EPT digital test and both gave a positive result. I was not sure about the results because I had been trying to get pregnant for the past 6 yrs so I went and bougth a cheap off brand that gives the results with the lines and it showed negative. I went to the doctor and had blood work that showed negative. So much for EPT! I will never trust another digital test! That was awful to go through.

Normally the only reasons for a false + on a pregnancy tests are a chemical pregnancy, in which the egg is fertilized and attaches to the wall of the uterus long enough for HCG levels to rise slightly (which would be picked up by EPT) and the egg does not PROPERLY attach and is flushed out with a period (The cheaper tests might not pick up the trace hormones), or if you are on some kind of mecication that contains HCG.

I don't like the digital tests much myself. I prefer the ones with the lines on them. I've used a digital test once and couldn't get it to work.

I used the Clearblue elementary digital one, and it took approximately 2-3 minutes. different than whilst i became relatively pregnant, then it took some million minute to discover the hormones and consider "Pregnant". I reccomend the digital ones because of the fact there arent any stupid traces to misread. You examine the two "pregnant" or "no longer pregnant" in sparkling typed words. good success!!! **EDIT -- ohhh i'm sorry, you asked how long do they actually exhibit the beneficial..... i'm sorry, I thoroughly misread that. I took it to propose how long did it take for the outcomes to come back up. i'm uncertain, i did no longer save any of them. They paintings great however to make certain no be counted if or no longer you're. Sorry approximately that!!

I didn't. I've used the Clearblue digital test a few times, and it was right every time.
