If you have USB ports (which you probably do), you can get a USB Wireless adapter for about $40 to $60. It's a tiny little thing, looks like a flash drive.

If you want to use wireless Internet for more than one computer (Laptop or desktop), you can use a wireless access point (Router) and one kind of Internet connection modem (such as ADSL modem) and also wireless card for each computer (most of the laptops have wireless card).
But the price of this method is higher than the non-wireless method, and it relates to the importance of your work.

You also need some sort of connection..like a router so that the wireless card can pick up the signal. Places like Coffee shops offer the connections for free, but to use it at home you may need a router.

. You need a wireless Router Plus you can buy! Other than the Wireless card. Buy a Wireless USB drive. IT just plugs into yur computer and it can be run with your router.
