Well to be completely fair times have changed a great deal since Jesus. But I agree that it seems a bit foolish and quit funny if you ask me that Christians support the conservatives rather than the liberals but perhaps it is due to the fact that most conservatives hold religion very important (which sometimes might affect thier jugement) and they share the same morals and values which at times liberals have not proven to hold as dear.

Listen folks CONSERVATIVES ARE NOT CHRISTIAN!!! They use that ploy to get the Christian vote. It was devised by Henry Kissinger during the first days of Nixon.
Hundreds of conservatives attend weird ceremonies at the Bohemian Grove every year. Among them is George W. Bush and his Father. A filmmaker snuck into the Bohemian grove here's what he filmed.
People dressed as Druids doing mock sacrifices to an owl god. The republicans there kept giving the devils horn sign to there comrads. In front of the entrance to the grove is a carving of a devil with pitch forks.
And these are our republicans who claim to be good wholesome Christians. You can watch the Bohemian Grove video at this link below

Folks Conservatives will try to brainwash you into believing they are christian. Hell even our President claims he talks to God. He said that God told him to attack Iraq. Even though the Bible clearly states that because of the sins of man God has cut off communication with him.
Of course it wouldn't surprise me to find out that Bush was hearing voices in his head.
Of course they do keep gays from getting married and are against abortion. So they do have to at least play the part.

Jesus could not have been a liberal.
The Liberal Agenda
•attack American traditions, specifically Christian traditions and the traditional American family
•engage in "get-even" policies that support discrimination when it benefits historically disadvantaged groups
•punish and/or discourage achievement through taxation and fiscal policies
•use the rulings of the Judicial branch of the government as de facto law, irrevocable by anything short of Constitutional amendment or a future court ruling, thus bypassing the legislative process. Roe V. Wade is the most frequently cited example of "judicial activism". (48 million dead and counting)
•weaken the military strength and morale of the country by vilifying the practice of armed combat and hesitating to use force when it appears necessary
•use regulatory bodies over private enterprise to accomplish social goals and restrict competition (government, education, labor)
•establish secular and progressive social policy, including support for gay marriage, abortion, liberal drug policy, euthanasia and prostitution legalization.
•implement a foreign policy supporting the protection of human rights and multiculturalism through activism, social intervention and violence (social anarchism).

You seem to miss the principals involved in Jesus ministry. One must take the whole word of God; not just the parts that make your point sound good. Read the Bible from the front to the back, then come back and see if you are in the same place of hypocrisy. Form your own opinion but you must read the whole book before you can have a valid opinion.

But he didn't go around telling people what they had to do. He gave people freedom of will. He loves us and did love the people. Liberals think government should be our mommies and daddies. If he was liberal, he would not have cared about morals. He was extremely strong on morals. Unlike many liberals.

Why do you think that because someone is conservative they don't care about the needy. They are more willing to give their money to private charities, because they don't believe it is the government's place to support its citizens financially. They are just as Christian as any Liberal, they just don't believe the government should be as responsible for the needy.

Umm, no.
Jesus was in favor of monogamy, against drunkeness, and promoted rectitude and accountability. Liberal? I don't think so.
