I'm an American living in Norway. I bought gas a few days ago and it cost over 7 dollars a gallon. Does that make you feel better? If it's any consolation, gas prices normally are higher on weekends than on weekdays; and it's likely to go down more after the summer is over.

2.83 at Fred Myers for regular, I'm a mid-grade though as VW recommends Premium but I wanted to go cheap so I went middle ground.
2.89 is highest with in last 24 hours for Boise ID.

About $3/gallon here. I don't know about an over-night increase.

New Orleans, La. When I filled up yesterday it was $2.79. It may be higher now. I'm scared to blink while I'm pumping the gas just in case the price goes up while I'm not looking.
