The PS3 looks great, but it's just too expensive. It is immediately ruled out for me due to this, though rich folks may not mind the price. I'd rather buy another system and a bunch of games for the same price as the PS3.
Xbox 360 isn't so great right now, but by the end of the year (and especially in 2007), it will have much better titles to call its own, such as Gears of War, Mass Effect, Too Human, Bioshock, etc. Also, Xbox Live is, and will continue to be, the best online system.
Nintendo Wii looks very interesting. Zelda will be great, as well as Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy. The only thing I'm concerned about is the controls being perhaps a little complicated, especially with the bow-and-arrow mechanics in Zelda (the biggest launch title). I have confidence that Nintendo will succeed, however.
If price matters, don't get PS3. Then it's down to whether you like Nintendo games or Xbox Live, and whether online features matter.

PS3's blu-ray disk reader will look awesome with an HDTV. Playstation has awesome games always and will be still a good buy when it comes out. The design is Sleek and stylish and will push along the next-gen consoles.
The Wii will live up to nitendo stands and with the new ivotive controller will be a step closer to VR games. The New Zelda and Metroid games will also be an awesome launchpad for the system. Nintendo fanbase is unprecidented compared to the playstation and xbox fans. Nintendo sports which allows you to swing a bat and slash a sword instead of hitting the "b" button will be an awesome step up from such games for PS's eye toy.
The Xbox 360 has very awesome graphics and has several good games including Oblivion and Call of Duty 2 the xobox live for it has the fastest connection like it and Halo 3 coming out soon will make it an aweosme system to buy.

I've always liked Sony myself. But, the PS3 is going to be at least $500. That's a little too rich for my blood. I've never been to big a fan of the original Xbox. So, I think I'll have to choose the Wii. It seems like it might be hard to use at first, but once you get used to it, it's gotta be fun. Besides, Nintendo is always less expensive than the others.

What exactly are you asking?
wii will probably be the only system I will buy at or near launch, I may even pre-order it. I have the 360 but I didn't get it at launch I waited until it was fairly easy to get. I will not be getting the PS3 at launch, I will probably wait until it's easier to get, then I will contemplate getting it then or wait till the first price drop.
