I had one by then, but they aren't comfortable and definitely don't wear one in gym! if you want no panty lines check out boy shorts or Pink from Victoria Secret.

I started wearing thongs at the age of 12. I don't understand what the fuss is about. The thong's intentional purpose is to get rid of pantylines. It's a personal choice. If pantylines are bothersome to you, then why not? But you shouldn't just wear them because your friends do.

Whatever you do, don't succumb to peer pressure and go with thongs becuase everyone else is.
Another person above my answer named a few items that you can look for that might give you the same effect without the thong aspect, you might want to consider that.
In the end, it's really going to come up to what you want, mixed with your parents thoughts, and what is acceptable in your society.
But overall, yeah, you should be fine if that's what you want.
Love as always,
Sebastian

Yes, I suggest you discuss this with your parents and you make a decision based on the expressions on their face, start with your dad. Hopefully he won't have a stroke when his 13 year old daughter asks to start wearing thongs, I know I would.

i began wearing thongs on the age of 12. i do no longer understand what the fuss is about. The thong's intentional purpose is to eliminate pantylines. it extremely is a private determination. If pantylines are bothersome to you, then why no longer? yet you mustn't purely placed on them by using reality your acquaintances do.

No, you've got a few things wrong with your social sense if you think that panty lines are all that big a deal. Try finding a type of underwear that doesn't cut into your butt...hence no panty lines.
Personally, I think thongs are uncomfortable as hell, and well, only advertise what kind of skank you want to be or already are.

It really depends on your personal feelings and comfort levels. Some of them aren't comfortable (The trick is to go one size up, that makes them comfy)
Your mother might not want you wearing one so young, though. Boyshorts I find are *MUCH* more comfortable and cuter. :D
Go for Thongs and NOT G-strings. They're trashy looking.

Mm, I still don't wear them. Never have, probably never will. Nothing against people who do, of course, but I find the concept odd and think they'd probably be rather uncomfortable... If you feel comfortable with them, go ahead and wear one. If you only feel pressured... don't.

You are 13. Why are you worried about pantylines? You should be worried about doing well in school!
