I never showed up for jury duty I wanted to for the laugh .. They have never contacted me about it.. There is something funny in sending me a jury duty notice.. It is a waste of taxpayers money to send a felon ONE THEY LOVE a jury duty notice,... They should do their homework..

well you have to have a really good excuse...but i mean if you are scheduled you go on duty you can always make up a reason that your opinion would be bias.....but no i dont really know what would happen but i m pretty sure you dont Judy wanna play hooky from yer jury duty

From what I understand, they issue a bench warrant for your arrest. So they will send you mail about it and you have to turn yourself in and pay a fine. Just go, it's not that bad! Plus if you make an excuse now, they will just keep on calling you for it. You probably will be in and out in a day anyway.

You will be fined, and if you can't pay, you'll get to enjoy a short free stay at your local county jail.

jail, you will be held in contempt of court and will go to jail for up to 5 years
