If you're in Europe and if you drive a lot than diesel is a better buy, because 1) diesel engine lasts longer - the car will serve you longer, 2) diesel fuel is cheaper than petrol, 3) diesel engine has lower fuel consumption than petrol

In the U.S. finding a diesel station to fill a passenger car can be a problem, diesel fuel is more expensive and it is not as ecologically clean as in Europe.

It depends on what you want. If you want more power and are not much concerned with the mileage and the cost of the petrol then you should opt for Petrol car or else diesel car is the best suited in terms of mileage as well as cost. Although diesel car are little costly than petrol car but it can be summed up with the difference in the value of petrol and diesel..

it depends on ur investment if u can eford price buy a petrol or diesel both r good now a days v r getting better diesel cars compared 2 petrol so all the best

right now a diesel,,because of the mileage they get,,and also the new bio-diesel fuel that's on the market mean,s it,s re-new able source of energy,,and they run cleaner,,as far a pollutant,s,,better deal all way around,,hope this help,s.

Well, if you're in America, a "gasoline" car is your best bet because there are more fill stations for it.

If you're in europe, which I assume you are, I'd get a VW diesel.

Buy a deisel - better gas mileage and cheaper - only downfall is the emissions is worse.
