1. One chuckload.

2. Trees tell each other filthy jokes when there are no people around. If they live alone, they sob quietly to themselves and hum Cure songs.

Well, for the woodchuck, it would depend on if he was in the union or not. If in the union, he would chuck whatever the minimum was to get his pay and take all his union breaks down to the minute. If not, he would bust his little chuck butt and probably show everyone up just to barely get food on the table for the wife and kids(we won't discuss how he supports his mistress chuck).

As for the tree, I am pretty sure the non-union woodchuck would hear it since he has to work morning, noon, and night to keep up with the cost of living increases. If he's not there, then yes, it would still make a noise and God would hear it just to know he did his job properly.

GOOD QUESTIONS!!

Well, Woodchucks can chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. So in reason if a woodchuck could chuck 35 cubic feet of dirt he could chuck an equivalence of 700 pounds of wood. In a more logical sense I believe that if the woodchuck chucked the amount of wood that she sells seashells on the seashore divided by how many pickles Peter Piper picks would give us the true answer.

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

As for the tree, since no one is there to hear it the only sound it makes is

Ccccccrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppppppp splat!

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

Trees making noise? Hmmm I wasn't aware that they make noise except when the wind blows through their branches.

He'd chuck as much as a wood chuck could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood.

Personally, if I were the falling tree, I'd probably say "Oh Crap!" I bet they just don't do that when people are around to keep from embarassing us.

I don't give a tinker's damn about woodchucks, but...

Since sound is defined as 'that which is heard', if no one is there to hear it, a tree makes no *sound* when...wait, you didn't even say it fell! What kind of question is this?!?

A tree doesn't normally make a sound.

He would chuck until he upchucked!!

Trees don't make any noises unless there is a force that comes againt them such as wind or rain, or a woodchuck!!!!

F*ck Chuck the and his wood. I don't want to hear no more about his wood. He will not get any tonight! The tree moans when no one is around to hear it. I heard it once. Yup. (While nodding my head)
