Men like violence. Its in our nature, it cannot be removed. Admittedly, the desire for conflict wanes as we age, and as our minds and interests develop. The "problem" is that there will always be a new generation that wants to fight, and a bunch of older guys who want to use them for their purposes.
Accept conflict as a given, but if it ain't your thing, don't let it ruin your day. Go do something else with your life, and ignore the chaos. It really, really is overblown.
