I'd say POSSIBLY language(preferably foreign and a 'critical' language if possible, such as Russian, Chinese or Arabic) would be your best bet for today's world if you were considering ONLY a BA.
Science falls under the category of B.S. degrees, obviously.
Realistically, I'd consider at LEAST a Master's in something, before you go job-hunting. If you earn a Master's before even setting foot in the door, it will probably afford you SOMETHING worthwhile, and you can always go for a higher degree once you are established in a job.
